How we use your Personal Information

We collect Personal Information and data from you to create an Agreement, between you and us, for the provision of products and services regulated under the service-specific Terms and Conditions.

According to a legal obligation we also collect Personal Information and data from you for the purpose of identification and client duediligence compliance in accordance with the laws governing our intended business relationship (KYC and AML).

We process Personal Information and data from you to safeguard our legitimate interests in initiating legal claims, and preparing our defence in litigation procedures, preventing fraud and potential crime, asset security and access controls, and overall internal risk management.

We may use information to execute your transaction requests and trade orders.

We would like to improve our customer service, and the information provided by Users helps us respond to customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.

We strictly follow industry best practices in the industry and adhere to the rules set forth in GDPR, OPPA, CAN-SPAM and COPPA.

International data transfers

Our contractors and affiliates are situated at different locations (including countries located outside the EU) and we sometimes need to transfer your personal data to third countries to provide our services to you.

We may disclose your Personal Information where required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, or legal process served on EXEX), and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, avoid litigation, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, and/or respond to a government request.

We require any company with which we may share Personal Information to protect that data in a manner consistent with this policy and to limit the use of such Personal Information to the performance of services for EXEX.

- the pseudonymisation and TLS 1.2 encryption of personal data;

- the ability to restore the availability and access to personal data in a timely manner in the event of a physical or technical incident.

Only authorised personnel of EXEX have access to your Personal Information, and these personnel are required to treat the information as confidential.

Deleting user data

To delete your account and all data associated with it, you can:

- delete it yourself by clicking on “Delete account” in the “Security” tab (the “Profile” menu in your account);

- send a request on the topic to the support service;

- make a corresponding request to support@exex.com.

Cookies

When you use our products and services, we may make use of the standard practice of placing tiny data files called cookies, flash cookies, pixel tags, or other tracking tools (herein, “Cookies”) on your computer or other devices used when engaging with us. We use Cookies to help us recognise you as a customer, collect information about your use of our products and services, to better customise our services and content for you, and to collect information about your computer or other access devices to ensure our compliance with our AML obligations.
